It was a privilege to be a Ranger coach
This year was my last coaching basketball at Park High. I recently accepted a job at Manhattan Christian for the 大福彩票网-21 season. This was one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I feel God has great things in store for my wife and me in Churchill.
First off, I wanted to thank the community of Livingston for all of the support over the past five years. Whether it was packing the stands for games or supporting our summer hoops program, your impact did not go unnoticed.
A big thanks to administration, the recreation department, and the middle school program for all of their time and effort poured into the program. Park High gave me my first opportunity to coach high school basketball, and I will always be grateful for that.
To all of the young men I had the privilege to coach, your selfless attitude and work ethic was at the heart of any growth we had as a program. The road trips, locker room celebrations, early morning workouts, and competitive practices will be the best memories I take with me. The true joy in coaching came from getting to know all of you within the program on a deeper level. I love each and everyone of you.
I had great coaches to work alongside throughout my time coaching. It seemed that every year we had the perfect group of coaches around to complement each other and the players — a group that kept the focus on the players becoming men!
Moving forward, there are great players, teachers, coaches, and administrators in place at Park High. I’m confident the boys basketball program will continue to grow.
I’ll always be a Ranger, and the teams from these past five years will always be family!
