When the Livingston Braves took the field at Jack Weimer Memorial Park on Monday to play the Anaconda A’s in a season-opening doubleheader, it felt like a collective sigh of relief.
After practicing for a month with no games due to COVID-19 regualations, the Braves finally got a chance to take the field for a real game as the state of Montana enters phase two of its reopening plan.
With the stands full of cheering fans, the Braves provided a break and a brief window of normalcy — if only for a few hours.
